First week home. Out for a morning stroll with Dad:

Anthony and Deb,

First and foremost, thank you so much for trusting us with Surprise as our pet. She is so wonderful.

She slept most of the way home in her crate. She behaved so well and didn't even cry once. Once home our male "alpha" cat established the household pecking order quickly. He walked up to Surprise and as Surprise tried sniffing her he gave her a gentle rap on the nose. With that Surprise takes a wide berth when passing. In fact the cat wanted water when Surprise was drinking and Surprise moved out of the way till the cat was done. She woke once through the night when I had to get up but went right back to sleep.

This morning she went to the door when she had to go pee! When we went out it took about 5 minutes before she went but she did her business.

She had an extended walk to the boardwalk and back. She came back, drank water and we called "Kennel up", helped her in and she is currently totally crashed out.

Anthony & Buzz Steppin’ Out

Buzz has not spent much time in the show ring for quite awhile, but Anthony and Buzz (Thanks again to Sandy!) gave it a whirl this past weekend at the Dixon shows. No prizes, but very good practice!

Nice reach and drive!

The Chenjie x Izzy kids had a great time and did very well their first weekend out as show puppies. Both Anthony and Cathy have sent Dixon photos (Thank you!) and Sara will be adding some of her own - time permitting, I will get a photo album posted sometime this week.
